Apple has always seemed to believe that they are in the business of

making standards, not following them. They're the new IBM in that
|
|
regard.

As someone who's had to deal with the output from infinitely-accursed

AppleMail in its various incarnations over the years, nothing Apple do
|
|
could surprise me any more.
