As far as I know, IDLE *ONLY* notifies changes in the selected mailbox.
|
|
If you want to monitor all mailboxes, you have to use NOTIFY. But
|
|
checking around I see references to something called "enhanced idle",
|
|
apparently able to notify changes in any mailbox using IDLE. For instance:

|
|
I would like to know more about that "enhanced IDLE". How to activate it
|
|
in Dovecot would be nice too :-p
|
